Rental affordability is the worst in over a decade
What I’m Watching
The poem If by RUDYARD KIPLING is my all-time favourite poem. I first came across this when my auntie gave me a postcard with it on as a child. Through the years, every single time I’ve read it, I’ve resonated with a different part of it and it’s something I like to return to every so often to ground myself when I find myself veering.
Resource of the week
I’m a fan of Atomic Habits author James Clear. He also writes a newsletter that he describes as “The most wisdom per word of any newsletter on the web.” I am inclined to agree. It’s the only one I read religiously every week from beginning to end.
Quote
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
